The POSEIDO has been designed as a platform of debates and publications for the promotion of basic and clinical research in the POSEID fields, and is currently constituted by member scientific groups from 40 countries.
These member groups are institutions (academic departments or schools/faculties, institutes or foundations) or scientific societies, and they are involved in the development of the Organization through participations in research projects, education and consensus conferences. Information about some founding partners of the POSEIDO Consortium and their projects for the Community is also available on the POSEIDO website.
The POSEIDO is a supra structural organization, i.e. an organization of organizations. The publication platforms and research network promoted by POSEIDO are open to everyone, but the formal membership is only for groups.
