The POSEIDO Scientific International Research and Education Network (SIREN) is a network of independent study groups.
Since 2006, many large study groups have been established and are very active. The following projects are ongoing:
- Study Group DEC. Classification and codification of the chemical and morphological characteristics of dental implant surfaces.
- Study Group L-PRF/perio. The use of L-PRF (Leukocyte- and Platelet-Rich Fibrin) in periodontology and implant dentistry.
- Study Group T-PRF. Development of the Leukocyte and Platelet-Rich Fibrin prepared with titanium tubes.
- Study Group Post. New treatment options for the severely resorbed posterior mandible.
- Study Group CBCT. Evaluation (dosis, indications) of the use of cone beam computed tomography in implant dentistry.
- Study Group OralMed. Oral surgery in medically compromises patients and prevention of medical outcomes.
- Study Group PRP/Ortho. Effect of the PRP/PRF preparations in bone and soft tissue regeneration in orthopedics and trauma surgery.
