The Board of Directors of the POSEIDO is responsible for the general functioning of the Organization, the international publication of the POSEIDO debates, consensus conferences and original research projects, and the development of the POSEIDO Scientific International Research and Education Network (SIREN).
The Board is composed by a core of Administrative Directors, managing the daily functioning of the Organization, and several Associate Directors representing the largest group members of the Organization.
The Administrative Directors are managing the daily functioning of the Organization. As the most stable part of the POSEIDO, they are directly in charge of the long-term projects, particularly the international publication of the POSEIDO debates, consensus conferences and original research projects, and the development of the POSEIDO Scientific International Research and Education Network (SIREN).

The Associate Directors are representatives of large communities of clinicians and researchers joining the POSEIDO. In the Board of Directors, they are involved in the management of the Organization and in the development of global and regional projects. In general, an Associate Director is the President of a large scientific society, a high-ranked representative of a dental school or university (President, Dean, Vice-Dean, Director, etc) or the coordinator of a significant group of members.
